About the tea
A large leaved tea, taken from lower shoots of the tea plant. This long and coarse leaf unfolds in the pot producing a very traditional and superior quality of Japanese green tea. The leaves are rich in minerals and contain 70% less caffeine than the Gyokuro teas. Very soft, discreet and slightly grassy in taste, perfectly suitable for both beginners and experienced green tea lovers.
